EDTECH Demonstrator Programme | About Us

The EdTech Demonstrator Programme was developed by the Department for Education to ensure schools and colleges across England can access free expert advice from education technology specialists across the country. So far in 2021-22, 2,000 schools and colleges across England have received support with over 100,000 classroom staff and 1 million learners having been helped to implement and access remote learning.

Following two years of edtech support providing crisis response in the first year and moving to long term implementation of technology in the second year, the programme is continuing to offer peer-led support through to the end of the summer term 2022.  This support is designed to improve the use of technology in schools and colleges and to improve the school/college’s digital strategy, by focusing on upskilling the profession to realise the wider benefits of technology.
